This 100% mineral-based sunscreen, also known as a physical sunscreen, reflects UVA/UVB rays to protect the skin, suitable for all skin types, including sensitive, oily, and acne-prone skin. Formulated with 24% zinc oxide, it forms a photostable and water/sweat resistant barrier, effectively blocking UV rays at all times. This sheer and soothing layer of zinc oxide blends seamlessly onto all skin tones without a chalky or pastey residue. It delivers improved texture and moisturizing ingredients, such as organic aloe vera, rice extract, grape seed oil, avocado oil, and plant-based butter. Zinc oxide is non-comedogenic (like all our moisturizing oils) and shine-free, ensuring safe use for oily-combination or acne-prone skin. Its mild astringent properties help balance and regulate oil production and reduce the appearance of enlarged pores. This conscious sunscreen is also ocean-friendly and Hawaii compliant, safely protecting our skin during water activities and preventing sunscreen-induced coral bleaching.

Main Ingredients

• Grape Seed Oil 2.5%: Protects the skin, prevents oxidation of the skin and helps to make the skin elastic.

Zinc oxide is more than just a sunscreen ingredient. It is widely used in topical ointments and cosmetics because of its healing and soothing properties. Because zinc oxide is non-irritating, non-allergenic, non-comedogenic (less likely to cause acne breakouts), it makes an ideal additive to skincare products and ointments. For instance, it’s a popular ingredient in diaper rash creams and powders for babies to form a protective barrier on sensitive, delicate skin. In addition, it’s included in topical ointments addressing itching, burning, inflammation, redness, or dryness from bites, dandruff, acne, eczema, dermatitis, rosacea, and rashes. The antiseptic and astringent properties of the ingredient help to reduce the risk of bacterial infections, allows faster healing of minor burns or wounds while balancing the skin’s oil production, which prevents shininess.

• Dermatest: Obtained Dermatest certificate. This means product has passed the vivo(human) patch tests with no toxin or irritation reactions based on the guidelines of the ICDRG, which is one of the most globally-established standards, instructs. Only the products that passed this test are able to obtain the “Excellent” mark.
• COSMOS: Obtained COSMOS certificate that is an utmost certificate for organic and natural cosmetic products comprised of the five major institute in EU. Their certificate is allowed only for the products with all natural or organic ingredients, and for the manufacturers or the brands that passed their site audit and package analysis.
• Vegan BDiH: Obtained certification from the German BDIH indicating that made only with plant origined raw materials without animal testing.
• Clean Ocean: Manufactured using only zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, excluding 10 ingredients such as Oxybenzone, Ethyl paraben, Octinoxate, Butyl paraben, Octocrylene, 4-Methylbenzylidene Camphor, Benzyl paraben, Triclosan, Methylparaben and Phenoxyethanol, which cause the bleaching of coral reefs, which are the main habitats of marine life.

How to use

1. Apply liberally to all exposed skin before sun exposure.
2. Reapply every 2 hours, after towel drying, sweating or swimming. !
3. Tip 1: The order in which you apply sunscreen when applying makeup; Toner → Lotion → Moisturizer (or Nourishing Cream) → Sunscreen → BB Cream(Pact)
4. Tip 2: Always wear sunscreen with or without makeup during the day. It is a perfect color correcting primer under makeup or by itself for a no-makeup look as it balances the skin’s natural pigmentation and blurs out imperfections such as enlarged pores and redness.
